PTR Police Payment Processor Exchange Service


A Private Service for members of PTR Police



Terms of Service

1. PTR Police Exchange Service is a service for members only of PTR Police. This service is to allow members to exchange ecurrency from one payment processor to another free of charge. By joining the exchange, members agree that all transactions will be free of any fees.

2. PTR Police is the conduit that brings together members willing to exchange ecurrency. PTR Police will in no way become involved in the transaction, except on behalf of an admin exchange.

3. The Exchange Service is open to all current members of PTR Police. New members (accepted after 2-05-06) must wait 30 days before conducting their first transaction.

4. By signing up for the Exchange Service, members agree to pay admin a one-time non-refunable membership fee of $5 to admin for administration of the service. Admin is limited at this time to accepting the following processors for payment of this fee: Paypal (preferred), AlertPay, Moneybookers, and egold.

5. Members wishing to make an exchange will notify admin. The request will be posted on the website by exchange number. Members who can fulfill the request will also contact admin. When a match occurs, both members will be emailed the other's email address, and the 2 members will complete the transaction privately. PTR Police will not participate in any transactions, other than admin's. Members will hold PTR Police, and admin, harmless in any private transactions. Members agree that until a match is found, all postings will be anonymous. Admin will not divulge the identity of the parties to anyone other than the 2 members making the transaction.

6. By joining, members involved in a transaction must agree to report the success or failure of the transaction within 7 days from the date admin matches the members. Successful and failed transactions will be posted on the website. Members involved in a failed transaction must show just cause to admin for not completing the transaction. Failure to do so will result in suspension of the member from participating in future transactions. Just cause for not completing the transaction include, but are not limited to, problems with the payment processor which prevents the transaction from being completed. Insufficient funds is not a reason to not complete a transaction.
