Current Update 08-05-06
Hello wonderful members! I'm sorry it's been so long since you've received an update from me. My gmail account was "under maintenance" by Google since the end of June. Google kept reminding me that gmail is still in the "testing" phase. Believe me, it's been driving me crazy. They sent me an email on 7-16 telling me that it was up again. I logged in and by the time I tried to access my gmail contact addresses it had gone down again. I was leaving that day for a camping trip and when I returned it was still down. This morning I found another email from Google that it's once again accessible, but how reliable it will be I don't know. I've created an alternative email michelle@ptr-police.com. Learn from my mistakes: keep a CURRENT backup of all your contact addresses. Plus to top it off, I had some computer issues to deal with, now apparently corrected. But this hasn't stopped me from keeping tabs with what's going on in our industry.
Paypal continues to be a pain to PTRs. They are actively trying to eliminate PTRs from using their service. Paypal claims that PTRs are MLM, ponzis, pyramid schemes, or any other nasty term they can think of. Many PTR owners I know have spent hours via email and phone, yet never seem to get a definitive answer as to why their accounts are being frozen (up to 180 days). I feel certain these accounts will eventually received their money back (who really knows though), but Paypal is not PTR friendly at the moment. I still see many PTRs using Paypal as their option, and my feeling is that it's only a matter of time before Paypal comes a-knocking, so my advice to those programs is to change processors soon and keep your funds at a minimum in Paypal. Alertpay, SFIPay, and SolidTrustPay seem to be the best alternatives at the moment.
The owners of USA-Mails and Greywolfsearch have launched a new program that doesn't use processors at all: TheChecksInTheMail. Literally, they pay their members with checks. Cool! Not every program can operate like that, but it's another alternative to the processor problem.
I've recieved payment from several programs recently, so here goes my list, and hats off to all program owners, you guys are tops! RealmofKarma (The Wiz), MushMail (Noelya), BGPayMail (Bill), DynamiteDollars(Genelle), WinterwonderlandMails (Maureen), TequilaShots (Jose), and JoyfulClicks (Joyce) a new approved program by the way. And ThePaidHelp too, as always :) Gotta have it and gotta love it.

I'm aware of at least 2 program owners that will not accept ads for PTPs from the following programs due to the content of these PTP pages: A-N-ACash, Beaus-Bucks, CashCrazyMails, Meow-Mails, and TigerAds. These programs have PTPs that contain popups/popunders, malware, spyware, and trojans, and we all know this is not good. I'm not disparaging these programs as a whole, yet I totally agree with the harmful content on these PTPs. When I click one, my ad blocker goes into overdrive. I have the best so I don't see any popup, popunders, etc., but just the fact that I see my ad blocker going nuts tells me it's fighting the bad stuff. If you have need of an excellent ad blocker that literally gets them all, please visit the site below. It's not cheap, $29.99, but it's forever and it works wonderfully.

A few new programs that I've seen and/or joined have launched this summer. StarWolfsMail was launched by a long time clicker, StarWolf. Definitely worth checking out! Another with good potential is SandSunandFunEmails, an $8 payout here. And our friend Niggy has launched Earn4Click.biz, as well as taking over PuppiesPTR.

Just when you thought autosurfs that pay were gone, here comes DadnDaves again. They will be closing the original DadnDaves in August 2007, but they have just launched 12by12Daily.net. They have learned from the mistakes made during the 12daily/Stormpay fiasco earlier this year, and since launch they have had to add 4 new servers to handle the traffic, and already have 14,000 members. Phenomenal! This tell me two things: people like autosurf, and people trust DadnDave. Autosurf are still a good way to get exposure to your website or program, and a good way to view the new stuff on the internet, not to mention making a few bucks on the side :)
12by12Daily.net
Be watching on your favorite programs for a new earning option. It's called different things on different sites, but it amounts to clicking on pictures and viewing sites for added cash and points. I found a couple at PandaBearEmails (Panda Breakroom), and Happy Puppy Links at PuppiesPTR. Again, it's a fun way to earn extra cash and points!
Our 2 year anniversary party (June 26) was a bust because of our gmail problems. But if you're interested in doing a different version of a scavenger hunt involving the script I just mentioned above, let me know at michelle@ptr-police.com. I'd like to hear from program owners and members alike. Last year's scavenger hunt was great fun with fabulous prizes donated by our wonderful program owners. Remember it's free exposure :)
I found a ring of scam sites that are true stinkers!! They all have links to each other so I'm thinking they are owned by the same person(s). Heres' a list, and examples of their outrageous claims, of these NON-PAYING, stay the heck away from them sites! Oh and by the way, notice how some of their names are very similar to legitimate programs. They've been added to our UGLY page:
A-N-Cash $15000 payout $200 emails
PhoenixCash $5888 $80
Hello-Mails $5800 $50
BestFlyMails $8888 $100
Kiddays $12000 $200
Coast-Mail $30000 $200
Tata Cash ? 48, 24, 12 cents (still not good)
Pay-To-Mail $1888 $10, $20
DonkeyCash $5000 $20, $50
ZySeaMail $1888 $20
PCash $1500 $10, $20, $40
Charm-Mail $15000 $100, $200, $300
PayingCash.info $850000 $2000
MegaPTR $150000 $150, $175, $200
Did you see those last two? Unbelieveable. I thought. Just when I thought I'd seen it all, a dear friend sent me this link. It's to a scam surf site. Only view if you don't mind strong language.

Incredible!!!
Do you think I rambled on too much? Yeah probably so. So I'll leave for now. You can expect another newsletter soon, now that our problems have been resolved. And I look forward to hearing from anyone interested in the scavenger hunt. I'll leave you with 3 programs that pay me, so please feel free to check them out.
